When I started my quilted Love Collection I purposed to use up all that I had of these coordinating fabrics. One of the fabrics has the word “love” repeated in various fonts/styles all over the fabric, which yields the collection its name. This special Love Around the World wall quilt uses 169 of the 1.5″ scrap squares left over from making the other Love Collection quilts, and there are still some scraps left. It is frankly hard to use up all the scraps when willing to work with smaller and smaller pieces. Finished, this entire quilt measures 18” by 18” after I added a double border around the 169 1” finished squares that make up this “Trip Around the World” traditional design.
