Piece and comfort for the eyes, heart, and soul.

Memorial Day Memories Exhibit at the Barns of Rose Hill, Berryville, VA

At this first showing of the quilts, my five quilts hung together, as designed, outside the entrance to the Barns of Rose Hill exhibit hall on the 2nd floor.
It was exciting to see men and women come to remember… and for me to talk with those visitors about the quilts!
Dorry Emmer finally got to see her vision for the exhibit of these quilts realized.
Seven of the ten artists were on hand for the closing reception of this exhibit at the Barns of Rose Hill. Suzanne Meader, Dorry Emmer, Kerry Faraone, Dena Brannen, Carol Campanola, Gayle Maisel, and Me.
I was delighted my “Grands” (in part, my ‘why’ I created these quilts) were able to attend the closing reception and see the many visitors admiring the exhibit and ‘remembering’.
